Ideas for May half term break within Uk

Looking for suggestions of where to go this coming may half term. We want to go just for the weekend (fri-mon). We are based in leeds.
3 kids-17 months, 2 years and 5 years.
any recommendation on things to do and accomodation will be appreciated.
Originally planned to go to Edinburgh but delayed booking train and the fare is just too much now and it is too far to drive with little kidddies.

Butlins at Skegness has plenty for kids to do. We stayed there about four or five years ago and had a great time. The only reason that we haven't returned is that my kids are older, and the wasn't as much for them as there was for the little ones.
