Where to stay at gatwick airport?

I going on holiday at the beginning of july and the flight is very early in the morning so am looking for somewhere to stay! Would preferable like to stay somewhere i can park and then get a shuttle to the airport!! Am also looking for something reasonable but nice for 3 adults. Was looking into using my clubcard vouchers but it seems that with all the clauses you basically cant use the vouchers to book packages and so you end up paying the most expensive prices. Does anyone have any recommendations.

We used The Corner House, much cheaper than most of the park and flys.
Breakfast and transfer included, others charge extra for these. I can't remember the address, but the transfer was approx 7 minutes.

Clean, comfortable and offer evening meal.

We used the Ibis a couple of years ago, and had no complaints. Not sure what the story is with leaving your car, as we went in on the train.

I'm off to Las Vegas on Friday and booked into the Russ Hotel about 3 miles from Gatwick, they have some good deals on parking at the moment with a shuttle bus running every hour.

I got a £15 room at the Travelodge at Hickstead, the saving paid for valet parking with Ace.

I stayed at a £15 travelodge at Dorking and then parked at BCP .

BCP available for 2 weeks for about £40 with an EGG link somewhere on this board.


Can I ask how long it takes to get to the airport from Hickstead as thinking of staying there next year as Dorking and Gatwick lodges are £26 and Hickstead is £15

Took about 15 mins at 6 in the morning ! It is all dual carriageway/motorway.
There is a very good pub the other side of the road with an excellent Chinese restaurant - much better than Burger King !

We have used both of the following and could not fault either. Both 5 mins shuttle to airport and walking distance into Horley town centre.
