Hi all.
Hope someone can help with this problem,
Have the above camera that installed ok on W7 64bit before system crashed and have reloaded, everything else seems ok, but camera has no drivers and shows as unspecified with the yellow triangle.
Have tried to update the drivers, but getting message that the mtp usb device update has been denied by the class installer. There is a code 28 as well and it is also saying a problem with pnp devices.
Any help from one of the experts on here would be gratefully received.

Why don't you just remove the camera's memory card and plug it into your PC directly. It will avoid problems with Kodaks software. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

If you don't have a card slot I would get a card reader, and download though this, and it does not use your camera batteries0

Thanks for the answer, but camera has not got a seperate memory card and I have not got a card reader.
It worked before the computer crash without the Kodak software, as ACDSee picked the camera up okay.
Just seems to be the mtp usb device driver that I cannot install!!As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
It should take a Sd card but only up to 256mb, these are probably ony available second hand, Ebay maybe. they shouldn't cost very much and a card reader you may be able to get from a pound shop for £1 !!0

Just connected camera to laptop running XP, recognised it and installed it. ACDSee opened and could transfer pics with no problem.
Just seems to be W7 that is causing it to not install.
Managed to get the MTP Usb device to load, but still no luck with the camera on W7As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0 -
