MBNA SAR pack received, need help deciphering it!

Hi, would appreciate any help/advice on this. I applied for a SAR from MBNA as wanted to read my original application from 1998 (slim chance they still held it obviously). I took out the credit card at my graduation and was the first one I ever had. I paid PPI the entire time I had a balance on it with payments ranging from £6 to £95 a month - this is clear from the statements included in the pack. I believed throughout that these payments were compulsory. However, there is no original agreement in there just a sheet entitled Autoscore SM card application details. Can somebody advise me on how to read this? Next to Payment Protection there is a zero, and across from that it says LSP Sale No........

What does this mean?!

Would really appreciate any help/advice. Thanks.

If you knew you had PPI, why did you request a SAR?

Nothing on there to aid you.

it is rare for anything in a SAR to aid you on a complaint. It is really only for people who dont know if they had PPI or not.

  • Ok, thank you. I wanted to read the application form to see what it said about PPI as I genuinely believed the payments were compulsory.
