Hi
I am considering selling a property (in the region of 375K) in an area of the SE where properties appear to be selling well.
I have sold/bought 5 times previously and each time wonder what the h**l I paid all the fees for.
Any thoughts, suggestions and/or recommendations?
Thanks
Chris

Your not paying for anything if you dont sell it and use a high street agentNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0

I have just put my place on the market through House Network (online agent). I bought a special package at about £700 inc VAT, which includes EPC, For Sale sign, premium listings on the main property portals including Rightmove and Zoopla, etc.
Overall, am really impressed with them so far; very fast to respond to my queries when I wanted to tweak my property description etc. Very good photos. They had arranged 3 viewings for me within 24 hours of going live, and that was before it was even up on the other portals.
High St agents were quoting me £4000k so I think the big saving is worth a gamble on an online agent, and so far I'm really happy with them. I can log on and check how things are going, see feedback, change the photo rotation, and generally have loads of control over how my property is marketed. I think it's mildly addictive though, as I keep logging on!
So I think it's worth a punt and having researched various online agents, HN looked the best (not the cheapest necessarily) so I went with them.
BTW if you use my affiliate code OGGGSKLRPP, you will get 5% off and I get 10% back I think, so please feel free and thankyou if you do! Good luck!0 -
Do a forum search for House Network, there a couple of lengthy threads on this very topic. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
