To better phrase this question, I guess I am asking whether the "duration" of contractual sick pay can exceed that of SSP? and is the SSP form I have received for informational purposes?0

At a guess you should claim ESA, if you don't the amount is deducted as though claimed. My thoughts are with you following your loss.Tomorrow is the most important thing in life0 -
When SSP ends you are usually entitled to a benefit which you claim from the Jobcentre. The form SSP1 tells you how to make a claim for this benefit. Your employer is advising you that they will reduce your sick pay by the amount of this benefit.0

Thanks chrisbur. So if I was paid £500 a week, and ESA is £100 a week my employers revised sick pay would be £400/week?0

Just to say that after approx 13 weeks you will be assessed as to whether you are deemed eligible to remain on ESA and that is looking at very strict criteria.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -
