AA Cover, but no European cover included!

Hi Chaps,

I have the full bells and whisltes AA cover, ie £200 per year for me and my girlfriend.

We are driving down to Provence in June, and I am not covered for European breakdown.

The chap gave me the number for the European divison, and I have just got a qoute, for a 7 year old car, to be out there for 11 days, and it will cost me £55 :mad: and that's with a discount for being a member :rotfl:

I carried out a qoute on the Rac website, and that came out at £69!

Any suggestions on cheaper/ney better alternatives??

My AA membership is up at the end of this month, so I could cancel it and go with someone else IF it included european cover and was as good.

Ideas gratefully received!

Get it with your car insurance. Full cover, including European breakdown, for a year added £65 to our insurance cost.
