Good morning all,
This is probably the most stupid question ever, but I'm not much of a cook and definitely not puddings.
I am going to attempt an apple crumble for later and was wondering whether I can make this is an advance and leave it in the fridge till later?
Thanks in advance

No problem
Make the crumble up and then leave somewhere cool or fridge and then cook when you need.
You could cook in advance as well but then you'd need to reheat.

I usually do it in advance and make a double lot so I can freeze one as it freezes well too.0

Its also easy to make a big batch of the crumble topping and freeze it uncooked. Then use straight from frozen to top fruit such as a tin of apple slices for a quick pudding another time.0

I always cook the crumble tipping separately blasted under grill with a little sugar, honey or maple syrup for a couple of minutes before layering on fruit. Gives a really crunchy topping and stops sogginess too.
