    There are 2.
So if it had the right plug, it would work in that.

yes looking at the plug in your link it should plug straight in to the 115v side with no adapator plug needed
I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.

only purely because i'm interested, not taking the mick or anything like that,

i agree that there is alot of fake stuff on ebay, but why do you think there is any difference between a 2nd hand one with no head from the states for £26 + p&p (& poss import duty) would be any less fake than the one i linked to for £40 + p&p which although it doesn't say i presume is suitable for use here ?

you are now left with a item that poss doesn't work, it poss won't work without a transformer (if it's not duel voltage), & is really not cost effective to send back across the pond
Rather bizarrely when I search clarisonic mia, it doesnt bring up yours!!!!
Just realised, yours is in auction. That will prob go for much more.

Have a look at the above image. Although the socket takes the standard 2-pin shaver plug, it will also accomodate a US-style plug as there are 2 flat cut outs on the 115V side. Does your socket have the same?

Power (watts ) is not just volts.

    It is Volts x Amps.

In the USA the voltage may be half but the amperage will be double to give the same wattage or power.

220 volts should make little difference. A 230 volt electric oven may take slightly longer to heat up to 180 to 240 degrees but it should still heat up.

UK voltage varies anyway. Voltage can be reduced at peak demand times.

Try Clairsonic rather than Clarisonic! It's there on Ebay and looks genuine enough!

    Probably.

I very much doubt that your device draws more than an electric razor.

But don't blame me if you blow yourself and your house up.

    I'm just an amateur. :D

Yes looking closely, it does appear to have flat cut edges:)
    Thank you:beer:

In the US they are nearly as cheap as (or cheaper than) our Chinese imports, so unlikely to be fake.
Plus the pictures are so detailed I was able to compare it to what to look for & look out for on "how to spot a fake" websites.
So at £38 + £15 = £53 for a genuine one, it was half uk price.
Plus its not actually a mia (even though it says it is) its a classic & they are about £150.
I was lucky with my bathroom socket.
