Wanted: Cheap Accomodation in Dublin.

Hi all,

Can someone help me.

I need to find some cheap accomadation in Dublin for 2nights from 2nd October 2007 until 4th October 2007.

Accomodation for about 20-25 people.

Any ideas anyone?

TIA

    Same for me please.

I have booked a Ryannair return to Dublin, taking my 15 yr old. I have never been to Dublin myself before.

I would like something near the touristy bits, not necessarily near all the nightlife with the stag and hen nights which many of the hotels etc seem to be aimed at.

Also not too far ( ie expensive) to get to and from Airport.

    Thanks in advance.

Also, although I plan to read up on suitable attractions to visit - such as the zoo etc, any suggestions/recommendations would be appreciated.
I have spent the past hour scouring mse as I'm sure someone mentioned setting up a thread (in the wake of mse making group bookings on the 1p Ryannair flights :D) - but I cannot find it !!

We have decided to stay at the harding hote, it gets good reviews on trip advisor, and is quite cheap, if you book with e-bookers. £106 for 4 adults for 4 nights inc breakfast. And the hotel has a evening meal menu for 15 euros. You can' tbeat a tenner for a evening meal.

Also the hotel is at the side of temple street, which is well centrally located.

    Wow,
I just checked the Harding out and for me and son, 2 nights, 1 room = £146, so you have got a really good deal there

Try this place- have stayed here 3 times and it's excellent- very handy location near ha'penny bridge and very close to temple bar

They have big dorm rooms that could accommodate a fair few people and having a look at their website they now do apartments

I have stayed in the Capel street apt before and my friend has stayed in the Millenium, both great locations and good quality apartments.

These might be a good option since there is a big crowd of you, some of the apartments sleep up to 7 people

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W

I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.

    Hope that helps

PS - I don't gain anything from this post. And I found the discount code on another forum.
