Barcleys Mini Cash ISA Delays

Hi all
Wanted to get some feedback on the new Barclays ISA and the extent that people are experiencing delays on getting one setup. I sent off the forms and a cheque to setup a new account at the start of April with out any response about the ISA being created as yet.
I realise that they are experiencing delays due to ‘unexpected high interest’ in the new ISA (thanks to MoneySavingExpert
), I just wondered if other people out there were waiting as long as me or if they have had a new ISA accounts created.
Also, if anyone knows the best number to contact Barclays on regarding this, it would be a great help.
Thanks
C

Yes enrcbrad I've been waiting as long as you, but my mrs who opened her's later has just had her cheque cashed. As the interest rate is guaranteed from time of opening you might as well wait with the rest of us. I'm surprised that Barclays are prepared to pay interest on cash they don't have, most unbank like.Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0

I have been waiting about the same time as you. I did notice this morning though that my account has now been opened - though there is no money in it. I wonder what happened to the £100 cheque that I paid in to open it? More long phone calls on the way, I fear!0
