gambling-friendly banks? Opinions

Hi there,

Being a professional gambler myself and having dealt with a few different banks in UK (with not much luck), I'd like to know others' experiences and knowledges about this particular situation. It's clear that there are banks keener than others to deal with this peculiar category of customers which obviously don't have a regular income.
Barclays for instance requires some regular monthly income, other don't but Lloyds for instance make you pass through an infinite number of security checks any time you receive or send money.

Anybody has had any good experience or anybody tried and would recommend a private banking solution?

Thanks

AFAIK, most accounts don't require any income unless for some benefits like free travel insurance or high interest rate.

I am an AP, not a gambler, let alone professional, but over several years I wagered hundreds of thousands at various bookies without any problems with banks. Most transactions go through Moneybookers with very few withdrawals to bank accounts or deposits from bank accounts.

Yes sorry, my post was not complete

with Barclays just got the account closed once the amount became important, 6/7 figures. They say due to terms and conditions.
The difference here I guess it's that I haven't been using mb to collect winnings but got money directly to my bank, wired. In addition to that I gamble through brokers (agents) which means I'm paid from individuals and not from a bookmaker even if my accounts do exists in legal bookmakers.

    Thanks for sharing your experience.
