fuel gauge

Hi can any one put light on my problem .
i drive a vauxhall Movano and the fuel gauge is electric it was kind of working some days fine then some days not .Now all it does is all the lines on the gauge flash would it be the tank sender unit or would it be the dash pcb? dont want to bye both if not needed.

    Only way to find out is test both items or replace both items with known good ones.
