in Credit cards
I went in the halifax to take care of my mother in laws finances because she had dementia they put me on her account giving me access to her account to pay her bills. They asked if i had a credit card i replied no as i was on long term benefits due to ill health they said that is classed as retired and i got a card which i felt was pushed on me, i have now accumulated a large debt and wondered if there is anything i could do without losing my credit rating. I am finding it hard to pay as we rent a 3 bed house from a housing group and now have to pay £90.00 per month rent due to the bedroom tax

Try to get a lower rate deal elsewhere.wondered if there is anything i could do without losing my credit rating.
Beyond this, just about every course of action aside from paying when due will damage your credit record.0
