Got CH quotes - Now what?

Hi all,
I've now received four quotes to install a new central heating system (combi and 3 rads) in my small flat.
All have supplied details of the boiler make and model and an outline of the work required (although some have supplied more detail than others). Now what? Are there any further questions I need to ask these guys? Anything I need to clarify?
Basically, how do I choose one?
Also, two of them supplied "estimates", and two supplied "quotes". They are not the same thing, are they?
Thanks in advance.

An estimate is just that, a rough estimate of how much the work will cost. It could be higher, but seldom lower.
A quote is an actual price for the cost of the job, so you don't get any nasty surprises.
I'd go for the installer I felt most comfortable with & who I felt offered a decent make boiler & a fair price for the required work. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
I think I have made my choice now. I have spoken to him to clarify a few things that were missing from the estimate (all of the estimates received were missing bits of relevant info, I thought), and he has answered my questions to my satisfaction.
Should I get him to re-draft the estimate, listing all the agreed work, just so there are no misunderstandings?0 -
before you actually go ahead just make sure that the boiler he is fitting is good and reliable. do some research on the boiler and read some reviews of people that have them to see if there are common faults with them.0

Are you going for an energy efficient condensing boiler ? You might be able to get a grant towards the cost. Check http://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/proxy/view/full/2019/grantsandofferssearch0

You could ask them if their is any guarantees/warranties on the work they do.
One company that supplied us with a quote had a 5 year warranty on all parts and labour.0
