Well the art of the pot calling the kettle black is clearly alive and well in your household then. How sad that you should berate me for attacking the OP when I did no such thing if you actually read it then immediately proceed to indulge in ad hominems yourself. The worst of it is that you've actually been thanked for doing it.If so I think they missed the name of this web site. Its not called "how to get fleeced by dodgy tradesmen dot com"

I think you mean the second (:D) and I have to say that yours appeared - well I've already dealt with how it appeared to me. But perhaps we've moved on now?If the truth be known I felt like the first post was fairly aggressive,

Dont worry about the other posts. It seems to be the norm now on this forum to just attack posters rather than give advice.
Good Luck
i think you'll find that most of the tradespeople on this section of the forum on the whole give first class, accurate and informative advice . and probably save people a shed load of money or ensure that they have the information to find a decent tradesman or use the correct methods or materials for the job
people can always spend hours doing their own research if they don't like it, but as a tradesperson myself , i'm more than happy to give advice on how to solve people's diy questions and i'm sure all the other traders do as well , however the number of times you do get people who haven't got a clue what their talking about offering their tuppence worth giving inaccurate info which is no use to anyone0
