Recovering lost word document

Hi

I made some changes to a word document (effectively deleting a lot of work) and i need to get the original version back. The origibnal was saved, the new version was saved. the computer didnt crash or anything like that. Is that possibl;e at all? I'm in the latest version of word.

in word 2010 click the file menu. you'll see a tab on the left hand side with says info. that's where previous version are listed.

Download and run the free software from Piriform called "Recuva Documentation"

When you changed it, did you use 'save, or 'save as'?
Though it doesn't seem like it was that important after all if you've abandoned rescue that easily.
