Look on the brightside; if you win you could 'accidently' shoot the other participants in the legUEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0

Sorry, but in MY opinion, if I was a few decades younger, this would be a brilliant adventure, and thank you, OP, very much for posting. Do remember that there are a huge number of people in this country who DO enjoy country pursuits such as fishing, hunting and shooting. In many ways, those who live in the countryside live totally different lives to urban dwellers.0

Having been born and bred in the countryside we learn to appreciate wildlife, but we also know that sometimes shooting something that is eating the crops that make the products that go in the shops that feed YOU has to be done, if some wildlife is not kept under control then everything that you buy like bread etc will go up and up in price as the harvest gets less and less!0

If you don't like the prize, just don't enter the comp.
It's a legit competition to post.0 -
Hi everyone
Thanks for letting us know about this.

Not sure where OP has got end date from...
''Competition will close in October 2013''
And I live in the countryside nearest town is 15+ miles away and have lived like this all my life.
I know several hunters from our area, and I couldnt ever do it personally but there is a need for hunting, I love all animals and could never hurt any animal regardless of the situation, Howver if we didnt have hunters as has been said animals would desimate our coutryside.
If everybody turned vegetarian then there would be no need for any animals meaning we would make them extinct in our country, and who would eat all the grass, where would the compost come from??
Its a nice comp but even us proper country folk dont like hunting but we understand that theres a need for it.
Low entries aswell so an mse'er could get luckyStill comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:0 -
I don't like or agree with the prize and therefore have not entered. However, it is a legitimate competition and someone will win it, regardless of my opinion.
By posting it on here an MSE member may be the winner. Not posting the competition would not stop the competition or prevent the prize bheing given out.
I would have loved to have won this and gone shooting with my camera, however, that is against the rules as it states you need to hold a firearms licence
