Hi,
Is there anyone out there that has any experience with a gadget that I can connect my Galaxy tab to, either via a dock or bluetooth (Preferably), to amplify or stream music to. Ideally a gadget that is easily portable for taking on holiday etc.
Thanks,
Mike.

Loads to choose from. Either small travel speaker connected with 3.5mm jack to headphone port. Or bluetooth speakers.
Or resonance speaker, turn any surface into a speakerMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -

I know there are options, but I was really after suggestions of experience - Some speakers are poor sound quality.0 -
Trouble is though, everyone's idea of what sounds good to them, may not not sound good to you. Plus it will depend on what music you want to play as well. If you like music with a deep bass, then most travel speakers won't be of any good.
I use Gear 4 bluetooth speaker, sounds is really good. Not very portable.
Have tried a few resonance speakers, they are ok, good fun for kids. Also used some of the small round speakers that pop open, again ok but bad for bass.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Neil,
I think it's safe to say that most people can differentiate an half decent speaker from a pretty crappy one, like a tinny sounding no volume speaker that is not worth the cash you paid for it. The gadget shop endorse a small speaker that is supposed to be quite good, but by all accounts it's awful. They are selling quite cheap Nationally....

And it is awful, i have tried one. Tab 2 speakers are far better than that particular speakerMansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0

your best bet with non-i* products is bluetooth or plug the headphone socket into your fave amp / current portable (better).
If you want to charge & listen, use the charger that came with it.
I did some extensive research and found nothing specifically designed, there is a sumsung dock but tis pretty pricey and unnecessary - i reckon anyway!Friendly greeting!0 -

Was at friends last weekend, they have this and the sound was ok for what you are paying.0 -
