And if they change the return policy as a result i'll live with it but I try to do things that dont result in a calculable loss by T
If they can see how much they are losing from people using MOCs against items they shouldn't be using them for then they'll clamp down on coupons acceptanceApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Sorry aau1, I don't want to break anything and it wasn't even my intention to use them, but I was taking my parioli coupons out and the nice young lad just pick them up and put them thru.
I'm new to this and I wouldn't have the guts to do this on purpose. I also gave him £1 off coupon for the free from bread and that wasn't on my receipt but I'm too much of a chicken to argue that.
People are free to do what they want, intentional or not.
Just be mindful that it may contribute to fewer MOCs, tighter scrutinyApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I don't think it is just about clamping down on coupon acceptance. Balance sheet sums. When the cost of training and rewarding staff properly and the cost of implementing decent IT is less than any losses incurred through use of coupons, then I have no doubt that T would put the necessary measures in place. They choose not to because they make more money the current way. Bad PR might swing it, but otherwise they do their sums and seem happy with the outcome.0 -

I had a sad mother nature moment on Monday. I just happened to step outside in time to see a jackdaw stealing a baby sparrow from one one of the nests
I always find one or 2 dead ones around this time of year and have always assumed they had fallen from the nests. Im thinking now maybe they're being stolen and dropped
I used to work from an office that had a 1st floor window that overlooked a large area of "maintained wilderness" in the middle of a chemical complex. A few of us kept a daily record of comings and goings wrt wildlife and it was amazing how many species visited the site. With the joy of being able to observe so many creatures in a natural habitat came the reality of real life mother nature survival:(
I remember watching Magpies building their elaborate dome shaped nests and hatching chicks only to have then torn apart by Crows and Rooks who carried off the young:(Awaiting a new sig0
