On Facebook, red spotted hanky are saying they've pulled the travelodge promo altogether

redspottedhanky update:
Unfortunately, a huge number of fraudulent accounts have been set up to redeem the Travelodge offer. Because of this, redspottedhanky and the Travelodge have had to remove the offer completely.
We’re extremely sorry for the inconvenience to all of our loyal customers and will continue to work on this issue.
Thanks for your patience,

'fraid so

When did that price appear on MSM?
If it was a new change yesterday, it might work today? Or possibly wishful thinking on my part!
Is there anything exciting happening in your fair city aau that might interest a fellow bargain hunter?! Heading down your way tomorrow for a couple of nights and was thinking I may peruse the local T's and A's, as one does

Evening all x
DD went to dentist today to have an extraction in preparation for her brace and was very brave but tooth broke apart and they couldn't get the root out so has had to make another appointment at a different dental clinic to get the root out. I didn't think the roots of a baby tooth were usually a big problem, could involve a general anesthetic. I hope this doesn't delay her brace fitting, dentist was a pain to get this appointment with. Should have had an appointment to get this tooth out just after Xmas but even with a hospital letter we had to wait from Jan until now for an appointment and her brace fitting is in 2 weeks.
I was also cross as the dentist just put 2 pieces of paper in front of me and said sign these so that she can have an appointment to have the root taken out at such and such clinic and when I looked at one of them I was signing to say I had been told the risks of general anesthetic which had not even been mentioned. This was brushed off as 'oh they won't accept the referal without it'. I am really not happy with this and am wondering if I should phone the orthodontal department at the hospital to discuss it with them.
I would check with the orthodontal department. If having the tooth removed was a requirement to fit the brace, I doubt they will fit it before the tooth is removed. It may be that they can arrange for the tooth to be removed in the hospital quicker than refering to another clinic. I imagine the other clinic is another dentist who is more experienced in tooth removals.
I understand your concern about an unnecessary GA, problem is you now have a tooth with only root intact, so something needs to be done soon. Certainly I would discuss it with the hospital before accepting the referral.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Tesco online and MSM show 150g Kenco refill at £4.39, in store it is £2.70.
Don't see how that can help anyone, but you lot are cleverer than me!

Last time he had it done we went for his appointment, sorted out what was being done and waited on appointment......6 months later, after getting nowhere on the phone for months. I had to write a letter of complaint to the PCT because we were still waiting and the poor soul was in alot of pain. It turns out the dentist who saw him had moved on and no one knew what happened to the referral.
I have to say once I complained it was sorted out very quickly. They sent a dentist to the house to see him  before booking him in for his op the next week. I got a letter of apology as well and an assurance that it wouldn't happen again. So I would say if you're not happy at least speak to someone about it. They should Definately have explained the anaesthetic to you. Having a GA can be a distressing experience for children.....and parents! I go in with him whilst he's anaesthetised and it reduces me to tears
If you don't feel happy with things, best to sort it out and put your mind at rest.I would check with the orthodontal department. It wasn't so much that I am concerned about the possible GA but the dentist put that sheet under another letter so that all that was visible was where I needed to sign. I wanted to see what I was signing and then saw it was to say I had been explained to about a GA procedure which hadn't been mentioned at all.
I can't see that this will be done within the next 2 weeks before the brace is due so that means having to change the brace appointment.
We have been going back and fore about the brace for 3 years now and finally at the point of fitting and this.0 -
I was told recently my DS1 had to have 4 teeth out before he got his braces on, 2 top and 2 bottom. I thought this was a shame taking out 4 healthy teeth, and after worrying about it for weeks, shared my concerns with the orthodontist. He double checked, and said he would fit the brace first, and he will try not to take the teeth out, and we will know in a few months. I'm glad I spoke up!Evening all x

The tooth in question was pushing forward and worsening the overbite. The orthodontist we were seeing said she wouldn't fit the brace with any milk teeth still in place.0
