Evening Dotty and Night Shift. :)

Been taking a few trips down memory lane. Been MIA as took DD1 round mum's yesterday to chose a few kitchen bits for her impending move. Seems like I have inherited a Poole Pottery Tea Service. :)

Today have been claiming back my lounge from the Stubsters, still had not given it a proper spring clean since coming back from mum's. Someone had thrown my mother's day flowers away and not even bothered to wash my crystal vases out.

Lounge now full again though as only clear place to start collecting DD1s stuff together. :o

Had another trip down memory lane tonight got OH to get down all my kitchen stash to sort through to find a few more bits out for her. Can't believe how much I have stored away, it is now nicely packed in my empty M & S wine boxes and a see through plastic storage box. But think I need to make an inventory. :o

Was nice to remember how much I paid for everything, steak knives 40p, think the irons were 4p and 8p casseroles, £4.90 ish Kenwood Tri Blade has a £47.95 sticker on the box. :D

Anyway have had a skim read back and seems I chose a good time to be MIA. :(

I've always found the 'investigating what's stored in the loft/airing cupboard/ under stairs cupboard' to be the most rewarding.

Not only does it remind you of the things you've lived without for years, but it reminds you of the times you shared with yourfriendsand family that can never be replicated :)

    Hi Tiny
I hope you are well hun. Don't often bump into you at the right time, like the first evening I spoke to you, on the night of losing the tv signal if I remember right and discovering we were both in poole. I will soon be racing you for the glitches when I am in my little peugot. lol..I am petrified of driving, just keep telling myself I just need confidience..and a licence of course.

Hiya, sorry can't stay to chat. Good luck. xx

I have just managed to wash my hair, without assistance, one handed :j

Only 10 more days until I get my stitches out and can do it properly :j
There are many exciting things that you can do with one hand :D

OMG! THat is just ludicrous. I've seen some rough and tumble but I'm so glad that's not my store. That was just embarrassing. :(
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

My ex employer donated some lovely cakes for my stall and he tried my cake pops and he was impressed enough to ask if I wanted to make some for his deli for the bank holiday and busy times.
I would like to do it, but I just don't know how much to say, he said have a think about how much I would want. Worst thing of course is fitting in making them, with working weekend evenings.

To be fair I'd just go with what you need to cover your costs (and be honest to yourself) plus an hourly rate of say £10?

My friend on FB has just started making these. I'd not heard of them before. No idea what they taste like. Do you stick the straws in with melted chocolate?

Yes and for best results you need to then let that set before you dip the whole cake into melted chocolate. They are quite sweet as they are cake mixed with buttercream. Thanks for your reply x
