Switching from my philosophical mode into my social history mode I think it has its roots in a reality. Didn't people actually go to sleep over a rope on ships where there was limited space down below? Or is this another myth that I'm perpetuating?:)
before my time  but I will ask my OH.....tomorrow, because he retires early. He has a rather wide knowledge on nautical matters from days gone by. Something to do with his father being on a ship during the war ( it must've been an Italian ship ) and the fact he spent a * very short * spell on a fishing boat after leaving school and before joining up. Unfortunately he suffered sea sickness, so it wasn't the career for him.....he likes boats, but he's not having one

Sorry. I had a quick read back but couldn't see anything. Will have another search.

Sounds interesting but I don't do really scary, is it?
I don't do scary either CSI is my limit but the plot is sooo good, and Joe Carroll is not unattractive either :DQueenriderbrekke wrote: »It's a seriously disturbing series:)
Best to watch a few at a time, that's what I did because it's so twisty and turny. I did find Claire Matthews a bit irritating though!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

no one is being excluded Lali. It's a silly FB squabble that spills onto the thread from time to time. Ignore it and carry on as you were. It will go away0 -

Don't panic. Most of us don't bite.
Come on in and enjoy the banter.:)

I am NOT going to give in and buy the Celine sling backs in the Jones the Bootmakers flash sale.
Trying really hard to remember that the last pair of Jones sandals were never comfy.
The sling backs are lush and perfect for my latest dress. Shame I don't have time to try them instore first.
I have not glitched in any form for nearly 2 weeks. No l'occtaine and no soap and glory but I did find that clinique skincare from boots buy 2 and you get free gift and 750 points but use debenhams points for my clinique so not bought that either.
Do I need a posh ironing board cover? I presume that if the rrp is £25 it must be amazing but don't do that much ironing ( sorry DM)
