For anyone who hasn't voted for me in the comp I have been going on and on about (Yes I do realise I am a stuck record)
Please could you vote for me as 2nd place is catching me up as I have discovered today she has been signing up to vote exchange groups on Facebook and getting more votes by voting for other people in comps and getting them to return the favour! So that's what my mission will be today but just a quick ask if you haven't yet or if your partners/kids/pets haven't please vote for me!

Could she not get disqualified for this. If it was found out.

Elsie I would love to help but just don't know. Perhaps someone will post a shop soon:)

What time will the first shop be posted please?

    Hi TM,
Not sure i'll even make a shop today, may end up being in the morning as I should have been elsewhere about an hour ago, story of my life at the mo. :o

I have looked again on msm and it seems the cara lucoz is showing for A's now, i'm sure it wasn't when I looked early this morning???? So I probably won't even get any now as it's not my sons favorite..... but he gets through lots with his sporting activities, sometimes he just has to have what I can 'get!' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

[...] (please note the smiley body language:))

Thank you:). That's absolutely no problem as I can see symbols, written down, printed, on a screen, whatever, and know what they mean. (But actual body language of people in RL... just communicates nothing at all to me!)

I certainly noticed - and probably everyone else who was here at the time did - that I didn't use any symbols for a while after I first came on here (I obviously* had my own thoughts/emotions throughout writing things, like I suspect everyone - or nearly everyone - but I guess putting symbols in things wasn't natural to me. It may therefore have come across without emotion to readers, but it wasn't actually being 'said' that way. I sort of happened to slip into using symbols, on one post, and then continued on every other one I did - starting off with the main 'smiles' and then proceeding to the more advanced ones later on). Anyway - :D:)

*Perhaps it wasn't obvious at all: given that the lack of symbols - you don't put symbols in a college essay do you? - may have read to many people as there being no emotion at all possessed by the writer, when the complete contrary was actually the case!:D
  • Quote Savvybuyer - "Morning. I was to about to say that my post (i.e. the one you're currently now reading) - now the ending of this one - was only the second post this morning to relate to purchases from shops and money-saving. Seems nearly everyone else is just having pointless social conversation (small laugh, not a roll-around).

Chimerical, your post above is the exception and it raises very important points.

    It ends "Very sad"."

Hi Savvybuyer - as a newbie poster I can't quote so I cut and pasted excerpts from Silvercar and Fairclaire who had posted overnight I was so pleased to see other people had seen another side - we are all different and just cos some like all flowery cushioned sympathy we are all individuals and express our feelings differently - and each persons posts should be considered equally valid even if it is does not meet what we might consider the norm or it makes us feel sad, it doesn't make it any less valid and they shouldn't be dissed or judged.:)

I love seeing your lists and the information you give is brilliant

My Chuckles is 15 now and would be perfectly dressed in camouflage whilst he waits ready to pounce on his next catch, usually a bird which he loves to bring in as a present.:)
