Please do, I have never argued with anyone on here, I feel, as do others that the post are in very bad taste, so yes I think we can all move on if they are deleted, I am quite happy to remove mine too.
Right I'm off away for another year then, same as last time.

    Bye

Squills - what you said upset some people, they told you, you took on board the comments, apologised and deleted the relevant posts. You did all you could to put it right .Its all water under the bridge now and, although you are perhaps now feeling a tad 'got at', you will probably feel better about it after a bevvy and a good nights sleep. I'm sure nobody wants you to go into exile - please think again, put whats been said behind you and stay with the thread as you would be missed.

Whenever people have a hard time we supply hugs, sympathy and kind words.

Someone having a hard time deals with it in a different way to others and they are asked to delete posts and apologise for their comments. When really everyone is entitled to deal with their traumas in their own way. To say that squills can stick around now that he has deleted posts and apologised is weak.

In the same way that other people have been supported through their troubles and have been supported in the way that they appreciated, we (as a group) should have been supporting squills in the way that he is dealing with all that is going on his life and not demanded that he removes anything written that is a reflection of the way he is feeling. To offer him support only on the basis that he reports his troubles in the same way that others have done and that he deletes anything that reflects a different way of thinking is outrageous.

I thought this thread was about supporting everyone in the way that they as individuals needed it, not just restricting ourselves to supporting people in need of hugs and prayers and thoughts.

I can totally understand why squills now feels like deserting, and the elite will be weaker because of his decision.

    :(

  • If you feel the need to go, then fair enough, but I don't see the need as you've apologised, and I hope deleted the posts that people have found to be offensive

Draw a line and move on thinks me :)
