just been to tesco and found some of the red buses full of chocolates and toffees so got 3 and they scanned at 1p each. as i was taking my 3p receipt out of the machine i found someone had left a 33p price promise - so they paid me 30p to take the chocs away

just been doing comparisons for car insurance and house insurance as both are up for renewal at start of june. got renewal notices through for both from current providers. as expected house insurance renewal is ridiculous, the price they have quoted me is more than the most expensive that has come up on the comparison sites.
very surprised by car insurance renewal, done several comparisons but for the first time ever i cannot find cheaper than what is on my renewal notice:T, first time i think i will not be switching provider for the car insurance. definitely switching building and contents though0 -

I've already got more feeling in my finger than I've had all week but I suspect that's down to the anaesthetic wearing off. Have plenty of painkillers so hopefully shouldn't have too much problems
IF and when I see you at the farm on Sunday, I'll be able to spot you, if you don't spot me first.:)
Hope your finger heals ok.:)
And I hope it's not the middle one. :eek:0 -

Evening Sarah and everyone else
We went there today and its such a beautifull place, your MIL & FIL are so lucky to live there, I bet its bleak in the winter .
It was lovely today no rain :T:T:T:T the sun was quite warm
Hope everyone is ok?
Yes, it is a beautiful place in the summer months, we have only been in the summer, so can't comment what its like in the winter, but yes I can imagine it not being very nice, no tourists so very very quiet I imagine. They love it though, so thats all that counts really.queen_of_cheap wrote: »Thank you to those of you who posted well wishes earlier- after a 6 hour wait, I am done, bandaged and slinged up, home and waiting for my pizza to cook
