I'm thinking of going for the Canon MG4150 as its more economical with ink & also wireless. Plus I think I can get £10 off plus cash back on Quidco....

I think fairclaire was talking about the HP printer cost David, not the ink?...at least I hope not!
Hello EMMAP, just make sure that you know the cost of your inks. I bought a lovely cheap Cannon Pixma MG3150 printer that is wireless and scans, prints, faxes, but made the mistake of assuming compatible inks would be available. To my horror I have found that there are no compatibles for this model, so replacement inks would cost more than another new printer would (around 40pounds for both XL refills). I bought some inks to syringe-refill them myself, but I think the Canon system has a chip, so is a little more complex than I wished. I have just had another look at Cartridge People, through TCB, and they have a new DIY refill system called Skyhorse, which implies it would work with these cartridges. Has anyone tried this?? Or do you have any other recommendations? Thanks!
I am not young enough to know everything.

Heartwarming to hear about your good news logie.

As everyone has already said, it really does put things into perspective. Never mind the champers, have a shot! :D

    Thank you :)
In my pre husband and children days I would head to Ms with my best mate on a Saturday morning. We'd buy whichever Champagne was on offer, some weird Jilly Goulden wine she liked and a bottle of vodka  We'd drink the champagne first whilst we were sober enough to appreciate it then drink the wine, then hit the vodka before we headed for the pub  Maybe the shots will be out later..... Doubt it though. Think i'll be on the floor if I finish my half of the bubbly :rotfl:

Thank you for sharing your story Lutzi :A Must've been a terrifying time for you all. So glad to hear that your DD is doing so well now. It reminds me that with patience and determination I can reach my goal.

You are right that the only certainty is that at this moment in time I do not have cancer :j

I remember someone on here saying about living in the present and not worrying about the future or past. I have always been a terrible worrier but have amazed myself at how i've managed to block out what is to come and just take things day by day. It has served me very well (apart from my spectacular wobble earlier :o:p)

Am feeling much better now though the bubbles may have helped ;):D

    Back on track.....:p:eek:

Got T.com delivery earlier. Had ordered gammon joint which should have been half price at £3.99 per kg. The one that was sent had gone through the till at full price. No DTD for me as home delivery but potential for DTD instore. For reference of silverhairgranny my delivery will have come from serp. green ;)

Most definitely Logie my mum dealt with life this way and had many cancer free years, even eventually having to learn to live with her cancer she still took each treatment as just something else to get through not looking at what might be. :)

I know she did eventually lose her battle but it was not the cancer that took her from us, and she was 80 bless her. :A

Is anyone else not having any luck with BZZZ? So many campaigns and not an invite to a single one! I would rather much recommend Pinecone Research (not meant to discuss them but I have only mentioned the company name so others can benefit). 4 surveys and 2 massive boxed full sized trials in a week. I must be L'Oreal, (because I'm worth it)! Well chuffed. :D

mimi I'm a BzzNewbie and I've had the e45 and FreeFrom campaigns, the Sure deodorant one is waiting to be dispatched. I'm on Twitter and FB, have written a few reviews, and just completed the e45 end of campaign survey. No idea why I've been lucky, I'm anticipating a drought at some point though.
Beautiful cake, what a talented daughter you have. Happy belated birthday. X

    Happy belated birthday marrbett :bdaycake:
I'm feeling really rubbish. Who wants to bring me chicken soup and chocolate??
    Ooooh and cheesecake please.

I've had to cancel the speech therapist today and she won't want my germs. My little man seems a bit grotty as well, urghhh I should paint a big cross on the front door. :(

Hope you're feeling better soon Mrs stinkface.
