  • For those following the MIL story, she had a comfortable night, spoke to my wife and gave better replies than yesterday ie was more 'with it'. She had a scan and the current diagnosis is cerebral infarction (a form of stroke). Serious enough, 30% die from it but many others go on to make a good recovery. Currently I think we're sticking to plan A ie my wife flies back Friday but a lot depends on what her bro says to her after he visits MIL this afternoon. My young nephew (20) is visiting first and I just hope he is level headed in what he says to my wife, I can easily imagine him being a bit shocked at seeing his grandmother suffering with the stroke.

While is tesco yesterday I found a realfood pamphlet (in the fruit and veg section) with pictures of strawberries ....enjoy the tastes of summer written on it. Inside it are 3 coupons ....

75p off when you spend £3 or more on fresh salad
£1 off when you spend £4 or more on fresh fruit
75p off when you spend £3 or more on fresh vegetables
valid from 13th May to 30th June

They have some salad stuff, toms and spinach on any 2 for £3 at the moment...so picked 2 and thought I`d try both the 75p coupons as I class them as veggies and salad .....well both coupons scanned OK so works out £1.50 for 2.

I do hope all goes well with the visit and your mother-in-law's recovery. I'm sure your OH is valuing your strength and support. :A
