    Saw the Soleros and assumed your shop was v M. Went out and did a pizza shop and used the chicken dippers and Ritz crackers as fillers.

    Doh!!:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

    sorry SFSB, good to see you posting :D

    What if it does not pay?

    Well, if you need insurance anyway...

    Nope, I'm thinking that it will track reasonably quickly, TCB are waiting for supplier to respond to my claim so it clearly went through their system and I satisfied the requirements, it's just a waiting game.

    If the insurers don't play ball I'll just cancel the policy, the insurance was not expensive even without c/b.

    Afternoon all,

    William Hill Bingo now payable on TCB :j
  • Hugely risky, I'd say. Insurance policies are probably the worst for non-payment. Even if it does track OK, many policies charge admin fees to cancel early. That could easily eat into your cashback payment. Would need a very close examination of the T&C's for this to be favourable.

    Not sure 'hugely risky' is at all likely - many of us here will have simply cancelled DDs for insurance policies and all that happens is that cover ceases, there are never any admin fees when you stop your direct debit. You are probably thinking of the situation when you pay 12 months up front and want a partial refund sometime during the year: yes, an admin charge is often payable in that situation.

    FYI my policy reads:

    If you withdraw etc...policy will terminate immediately etc.
    If you withdraw etc you will not be required to make any payments to us. You may however be required to pay to us an amount which reflects the period of cover that you have enjoyed....If we have already collected any instalments from you, we will refund the amount of the instalments less any amount that may be applicable to reflect the period of cover that you have enjoyed.

    So that's absolutely zero risk in terms of admin fees.

    The only risk is in not getting the c/b but as I said, we needed contents insurance anyway.
