because it isn't just large caps? All-share is even better as includes large, medium and small caps.;-)
I like diversification. If you held a ftse tracker alongside a global and a small caps fund, you'd be part way there.
No one said having a ftse100 tracker was Bad, so much as bad if not held with other things.0 -
All share does include the ftse 100 shares though, whereas 250 excludes them.
It is interesting how the 250 continues to outperform, given the state of the UK economy and the bias to that in many 250 firms I would have been convinced the large caps were better placed0 -
small caps always seem to weather bad economic times better?
Not sure, but small caps have done well in the last few years.0
