The disappearing ASDA smartprice goods

OK, so I'm ordering my ASDA shop online and recently I have noticed all the ASDA Smart Price items (Mozzarella, mixed peppers, and 18 eggs) no longer show on their online supermarket (this has been the case in the last few months).
I know the supermarket they pick my shopping has these goods, so it's quite frustrating that they are deliberately making it so I cannot buy these items if ordering online. I think why should I buy the next priced up version? I like the Smart Price version and I see no quantifiable difference between the two.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon of disappearing Smart Price goods?

Maybe its to do with absorbing the cost of delivery, so they make some items unavailable online.0

I've not experienced it, but it's up to them what they sell at the end of the day.
It's probably that it's not worth their time picking the goods for you - the profit could well be outweighed by the time paying someone to go around shopping for the items.
I feel your pain though - if I have to shop at a main supermarket (not Aldi or Lidl, my first choices) I always choose ASDA and buy a lot of Smart Price items.0 -
ASDA SmartPrice 15 (they're not 18) eggs have never been shown on their website, for some reason.
The packs of 6 are, so it can't be just because they're SmartPrice. The trays of 30 chef's eggs are, so it can't be because of possible handling problems.
However, they need to realise that some people, like me, ROBOshop (Research Online, Buy Offline). If I can't find it on the website, I don't know that they sell it.If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?

is it not something to do with being not allowed to sell eggs from caged hens anymore?Sealed pot challenger # 10

(and it stops extra going in the trolley!)

I didn't like the Asda smart price mozzarella. Aldi do a much better one and also a reduced fat one for 49p.0

The SP 6's are from caged hens, with the new welfare conditions. I presume the trays of £0 are as well. All UK caged eggs are.
The ban is on importing eggs or egg products from countries who don't meet the new regulations. And this means all producers in that counrty. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
