    How wonderful, another London use for that spare lo(o)ttery money that can't possibly do anybody else any good. It will give the destitute a few more doorways to sleep in. I'm surprised there is no gay/racial/anti-immigration issue attached though, I thought that was mandatory.

    I work with Lomdon homeless people every day of the week. Im right in the thick of it, I tell you, without a thriving economy helping to fund the charities that make a massive difference to their lives, they would be in a much poorer position.

    Also Ally Pally is the people's palace. The one 'palace' that should be working and operational.

    If you want to get all mealy mouthed then question the Jubillee or Thatchers funeral expenses or our military expense in the last 10 years, not a place dedicated to enriching the lives of normal people.

    Not on a campaign, just Pointing out the Ally Pally has been chosen to become a future leading London landmark by the powers that be. It's fact not speculation.

    I've lived in London for ten years and am not sure I could locate Alexandra Palace on a map- sort of Northish? Never had reason to go there, and have never met anyone who's been there. What's the point of it?

    Lived in London for 5 years, never felt Ally Pally made any difference to my life.

    Did it ever occur to you that might be because it was still a fire damage wreck which might have something to do with it ? Hmmm ?

    London is going to have a beautiful old theatre and the oldest surviving tv studio's brought back to life.
