The UK average is around 16,500kWh gas and 3,300kWh electricity, which is around £110 a month.

Does your £180 include any debit balance being paid off?

3 bed semi - £85 per month (only because we have had a problem with the boiler and higher gas usage than normal + the colder/longer weather we have had).
Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.

£136 a month, for a three-bed semi occupied by two people, also used as a full-time office.

ETA: Not a clue about our usage figures. OH deals with energy bills.

    I win so far. :p

£8-9pm of that is bloody electric showers; fortunately my new place won't have one. The year before last (when the cold weather didn't really start until the last week of November) I only used 3400 kWh gas.
