Are the readings actual or estimated and how do you heat your home?

Yes, that's 8.3 kW every hour overnight - even if you had a hot water tank tied to the night circuit it can not use 58 kWh in one night. So there is something wrong somewhere.

Ask your immediate neighbours - do any of them have electric heating?

Are you 100% sure that it's the night reading. Do you have a digital meter and if so could you be reading the total (i.e. day and night added together in error.

This would make the night reading on the 22nd April 1276. This would mean you'd actually used 244 units.

t means total so your bills completely wrong and way too high :D Keep pressing the button and you should get some further displays (date/time, test etc) along with the night reading.

Give your supplier a call tomorrow with the correct readings and breathe a sigh of relief.
