Hi, Not unusual, i had collected 12 months bank statements but when i spoke to my or he said he didnt need them. I kept them for 6 months and when i recieved my ipoq form to fill in i rang and asked if it was ok to shred them he said yep no problemThat's exactly the same as me about my landlord and that was one of the first questions I asked I was so relived when he said he wouldn't need to speak to her, is it normal then that I haven't had to supply any paperwork at all?? I am getting slightly worried now about this

Larz750 and 22bear.....Interested to know some of the background details, i.e how much you owed, what you were allowed to claim as expenses etc.
Considering the BR route and trying to think how it will pan out...0 -
The amount people go BR for is irrellivent as for one person £16k may be the straw that breaks the camels back and for others it is £100'sK, it so depends on peoples circumstances.
Peoples SoA's are individual as well, it will wholly depend on what their circumstances are. If you want to put your SoA up on your own thread as it stands now you are very welcome and someone will show you how an OR may look at it.

well I owed in excess of 100k after I had to wind up self-employment due to sudden illness. In terms of what allowances the OR agreed to, all items I listed were the usual ones featured in the CAB income and expenditure lists but my figures were higher than the trigger figures recommended by the Common Financial Statement issued by the Money Advice Group (which are significantly higher that those listed by the Office of National Statistics-January 2012 which most ORs would take as a guide) for food and groceries, personal care, prescription/dental/optical, clothing and dry cleaning and I also was allowed £20 per month for gym membership and a monthly allowance for tuition fees to complete my second year of my part time masters degree that I'm currently doing
I was, however, able to provide a letter from my consultant about my medical condition in which was recommended that these figures that I claimed were a medical need so that's why the OR readily accepted them especially since my medical status is protected legally under the Equality Act 2010 as a progressive condition
I have an IPA of just over £200 pcm for the first year, projected to rise considerably in the next 2 years after I complete my final year at university, taking into account no longer having to pay course fees and projected salary increases that I'll be due during the period of my IPA..and I'm delighted with that outcome
My circumstances, therefore, were regarded as exceptional and I suppose that every case is decided on it's own merits0
