Hi everyone I had my interview yesterday and was on the phone for exactly 6 mins and 30 secs as the OR actually commented on how quick we were lol!!! And that's it didn't need to go through anything extra, I get to keep my car which is paid for in full in September so that is extra money for me, no IPA, the only thing that will happen is that because I am going to a zero tax code I have to pay the tax towards my debts instead which I really am not bothered about as I am just so glad it's over. I took great pleasure in contacting some of my creditors today and they were all polite and professional - so that's it I don't know why I worried at all roll on the 30th April 2014 the day I am discharged woo hoooo!!
To all those worrying please don't as it really isn't as bad as u think

Glad it went well for you Lara AND bear
And I am glad you had no IPA... HOWEVER, a word of warning. If you DO earn any more money during the course of the next 12 months, BEWARE, because the OR can ask for your I and E at ANY time during that 12 months, and if your income is higher than now; even twenty quid a week; you could end up with a 3 year IPA. 0 -

Actually I have got a 3 year IPA as I expected but I'm really pleased with the figures I've been allowed for all my particular expenses- my OR was ultra-reasonable and fair, I couldn't have asked for better! I was worried that I might end up struggling for the period but I'm satisfied that that is not going to happen with what I've been allowed, I'll easily manage....tight, but I'll manage!
..sure, it means that I wont see any of the annual wage rises I'll get as I go up the grade ladder for my post for the next three years but that's ok..I actually feel better that it's going into my BK pot...and once it's done after the 3 years I can truly wipe my hands of it and all my wages will be MINE...(Bwah-ha-ha-HAAAAA-evil laugh!!)

Thanks I will bare that in mind however it's very unlikely at all my wages will increase and the OR hasn't asked to see any pay slips etc and on my forms I put approx down and it hasn't been queried. I work for an agency so some weeks will be less or more money than others and I am currently off sick and signed off by the doctor because someone crashed into the back of my car on Tuesday so I am not getting paid at all for been off work for next two weeks, one question I do have is has anyone else had to pay what they would usually pay in tax pay a company towards ur debts instead of paying tax if that makes sense - when my tax code goes to zero???0

oh, and I meant to add....another big worry I had was the OR being required to tell my landlord about my BK, but I was told that wouldn't happen as I had always been up to date with my rent and I had an assured shortlease tenancy agreement. So relieved!!
And yes, Larz...I've got a nil tax code too until the start of the next financial year. I've to supply 12 months bank statements and my last wage slip to the OR, with my local tax office details, so I expect my nil tax code will kick in pretty soon, if not the end of this month then certainly by the end of June wages.0 -
That's exactly the same as me about my landlord and that was one of the first questions I asked I was so relived when he said he wouldn't need to speak to her, is it normal then that I haven't had to supply any paperwork at all?? I am getting slightly worried now about this0

Don't be worried. I've seen on the posts here that it's not unusual not to have to supply bank statements. It all depends on each individual's circumstances. In my case I was claiming higher than the average for food, groceries, clothing, personal care and dry cleaning because I have a long term disability, so I guess that they want to see bank statements to confirm such things...just a formality really!0
