Extended car warranty and servicing

Conclusion:

we had been quoted a price for a 4 year service which is recommended by Peugeot - the biggest service that they do. We are going for a lower level service (level 3) but could have actually gone down to a very basic one for £99 without invalidating the warranty.

It's just a shame that the dealership servicing dept didn't explain that yesterday, and I had to contact head office to find out:(

But....a happy ending. Thanks to all those who took the time to respond.

Bristol street. Oh dear.

My sister bought a Focus from them some years back. I had to insist on the mechanic coming out to the car with the keys after taking it in for a repair to be told it was a dodgy coolant cap.

Engine was cold, he said it had been parked for at least 2.5 hours. I opened the coolant cap and hissss..... Tried to say that was normal.

I said show me any other car that does that with a cold engine.

Headgasket had gone..
