I have had a little look around and none of the Banks with Packaged Accounts have Worldwide Travel Insurance for trips over 31 days (so far that is)
Does anyone if any of the banks offer this?

I have a Marks and Spencer credit card, and I'm in their Premium Club - that has packaged travel insurance of up to 45 days per trip
M & S do current accounts now with the premium club benefits, so might be worth investigatingEarly retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Nationwide offer 'Extended cover for a trip lasting longer than 31 days' the cost being variable depending on the length of your trip. May be worth calling them to establish the difference in price.0

Quite a lot will do - those that don't may increase the number of days covered for an extra premium.
Do your homework - might it be cheaper to buy a stand alone policy?0 -

Interesting - because even though it is £20 a month
You can apply for the Regular Saver so thats £96 interest - £10 for your birthday - £40 vouchers to spend in store
There are other bits and pieces but of little value to me personally
So in essence it costs £7.83 a month or £94 for the year
Worth considering for sure - plus I suppose you could also get £100 gift card and 20% off for a year for switching an account (not necessarily my main account
If it had Mobile Phone Insurance I would be all over it0 -

I already have a stand alone policy with Amex BUT to get cover for an individual item like a laptop for £500 (standard is £300) is expensive
I was hoping to get a packaged account that would cover me for everything including some phone insurance
Still looking around I have 5 weeks to decide0 -

Will contact them tomorrow - can get 3% interest on £2500 - so maybe around £70 interest - £120 charge for the account - and say a one off charge of £20 (a guess) for extended holiday. So £70 for the year - £5.83 a month
However I would get mobile phone insurance and extended 12 month warranty for most appliances - breakdown cover is of no use to me - even though it is there
So again depending on the one off charge - could be good0 -
What about home insurance for things outside of the house sometimes called personal possessions cover?I already have a stand alone policy with Amex BUT to get cover for an individual item like a laptop for £500 (standard is £300) is expensive

Not relevant to my situation but thanks for pointing out anyway0 -
The £96 on the monthly saver should be disregarded. Will contact them tomorrow - can get 3% interest on £2500 - so maybe around £70 interest - £120 charge for the account - and say a one off charge of £20 (a guess) for extended holiday. So £70 for the year - £5.83 a month

You could get exactly the same return elsewhere.0 -

Well I already have FD, HSBC and N&P - so those bases are already covered
Regardless I do not think M&S is my first choice Nationwide looks good if the upgrade is a reasonable price0
