Aviva ? Can i claim

I have Mortgage Life Insurance with Aviva taken out in 2011. It covers Life Cover, Mortgage Payment Protection & Critical illness. I am employed and my partner self employed.

Is this something that can be claimed back? I took the cover out in a meeting with them but didnt really understand it.

Is it something that be claimed back or is it right?

Any help is appreciated.

Only if you are immortal and immune to disease.

(It's a really useful insurance policy. It's not PPI)

Are you going to ask if you can claim back your house insurance and car insurance as well? Why stop there. Why not ask for your electric bill to be repaid.

Good for you. Although it has absolutely nothing to do with the policy you hold.

Sorry to be flippant but I struggle with people asking if they can claim money back on something which is actually quite important and normal to have.

I wasnt considering claiming until a friend asked what policy we had and told me it was worthless and could claim it back.

Before I did anything further I thought i'd ask on here as normally get very good advice.

Thanks for the responses and I will keep the good policy!

Probably a wise move unless your friend has the qualifications to show he knows what he is talking about.
