hi ya, i took out an debt management plan in 2008, i was never offered an iva, the company in 2011 offered me one then for the same cost. when i asked them recently they could not tell me why i wasnt offered it. i asked legal advice who told me to tell them ive been missold it and want compensation. ideally what i want is for it to finish dec this year as it would have been instead of me having to wait another 4 years to be debt free. ive rang them and waiting, i feel very annoyed as im paying double back and want to sort my life as a single parent best as i can to try to get a good life for me and my son. even tho its very hard working full time i dont get housing benefit etc. please help i want this iva gone. thank you all x

I don't know much about this.
You could ask your question on the IVA board, the people there probably have more knowledge and experience of these situations.
