Online earnings while on Benefits.

Can anyone enlighten me as to the stance/law on being on benefits and earning from surveys, online blogs, adsense, selling on Ebay, and car boot sales?
I'm not talking about making a mint or, more like a sporadic payment here or there.
Much appreciated,

All income has to be declared regardless of it's sporadicness.

Generally any selling of personal items etc is normally disregarded for the likes of ebay and that.

However if it's "earnings" then it an income.

Obviously you could take your chances, but sooner or later it would flag up.
