First Utility
Has anyone else moved over to first utility and had problems?
I made the mistake of switching over at the wrong time of the year and ended up with hefty bills of over £400 from my previous supplier.
I also was told by First Utility that based on the readings i gave my DD would be going up by £60 a month from that of my previous supplier. What happened to spreading the cost throughout the year? I wanted my bills to go down not up.
I've also had 3 payments taken out of my account because of their mistakes in less than one month and the customer service is appalling. I've rang them more than 20 times and been promised refunds many times but still no money back in my account. It takes you approx 10 mins minimum to get through on the phone and they don't seem to care about having your business at all. If you select callback they don't call you back.
Anyone any ideas what i should do because I'm worried they will take even more money out of my account at anytime and I've already gone overdrawn .

I suggest you put any complaint in writing, following the supplier's own complaint procedure.
