Trust fund???????
I live in a 2 bed flat with my 11 yr old daughter, it is all electic. My monthly payment has gone up to £120 per month. The only thing constantly on is my fridge/freezer, i only use the washer twice a week, thermostat for heating is on lowest and always switch plugs off when going out. I am going to struggle to pay this amount as i am on jsa but a friend told me about an energy trust fund that can help will larger bills. Has anyone heard of this or know anything about it???? Thanks.

Are you actually using £120pm, or have you built arrears on the account?
Are you on an E7 tariff with storage heaters and an immersion heater?
You will get better advice if you post your actual kWh usage rather than £££'s on your DD.
Switching off plugs does not reduce your consumption unless the device is otherwise left in standby. It's hot water and heating that burn energy.
All the Big 6 have energy trusts (just Google them), but they primarily are for people who have fuel debt-it's not clear if that applies in your case.No free lunch, and no free laptop

When did your payments go up? Does it coincide with a price rise from your energy supplier?0
