When I click on my computer and properties of removable drive D It lists a Toshiba MK8032GSX DVD drive and HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GMA 4082N
In the DVD region info it says that I can change the region only a maximum of 4 times before it cannot be altered anymore even if I reinstall windows or move my drive to a different cpu...... Is there anyway I can remove this block?

Try a program called "AnyDVD" from Slysoft.
That should do the trick, although you have to pay for it after a month. I don't know if there are any completely free ways of doing it.0 -
there must be some 'patch' out there that can do it permanently?Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

Hi
I've found a how-to on the doom9 website, but it looks a bit complicated.
Go to https://www.doom9.org and follow the links

Ive got AnyDVD, another quality program with no time limit on free updates at the mo.
Its got loads of extra features other than just making the DVD player region free so was well worth the money.
I brought it with the also excellent Clonedvd2 so got a some discount.0
