    Never trust ANY ofthe online websites that quote the weights. None of them are 100% accurate on everything.

    Some are way off the mark.

    As mentioned the important weight for post 1997 licence holders is the cars gross laden weight and gross train weight.

    Cars gross laden weight + caravans gross laden weight must be less than 3500kg.

    Caravans gross laden weight must be less than the cars unladen kerbweight.

    Caravan club recommend the caravans gross weight is 85% of the cars unladen weight.

    Which forum seems to be the best for camping/caravanning information? Just incase i need some further information.

    I dont like signing up to more forums than i need to, hence asking for recommendations first.

    Thanks, I've been reading quite a bit on there. It seemed pretty active and a much "glossier" (sp?) place than some of the other very basic forums.
