    Note: it must be the numbers on the numeric keypad, NOT the top row of numbers on the QWERTY keyboard part. ;)

    The first 18 pounds is for a band four emergency treatment ie the temporary filling. It does not include a check up.

    Many dentists would not be happy to do just a filling without doing a full check up as there may be problems elsewhere.

    Surely if money is tight health should come before vanity? A check up and all necessary fillings will cost in England a band two charge and you know that there is nothing else lurking about. It may not look as pretty but it is healthier than treating only one tooth without even looking at the others .
