Hi
I have bought the above item to extend my wifi signal to rooms that don't get anything at all.
I thought I had connected properly and get 2 bars on my phone and laptop when I previously had zero. However the connection on the laptop shows as 'limited' and I can't get to any websites on either device.
Any suggestions?
Thank you

How techie are you? if not very then this might be tricky
The instructions were no use to me, basically the WS 320 has a default LAN address of 192.168.2.254, the 3rd number needs to match that of your router which is usually 1 not 2, so plug the device into the socket and wait for the light to go orange (if you have already tinkered you may need to reset the device).
Using a wireless device laptop, ipad , mobile phone you should find a device REPEATER in your available networks, use your web browser to go to 192.168.2.254 and use admin for user and password. when on admin page goto advanced/settings/LAN and change the LAN to 192.168.1.xxx (xxx being a number which doesn't conflict with other devices) leave the subnet mask details as they are, now press manual connection and wait.
Eventually you should see your network enter password and that's it your light should turn green and the device should be good to go
Hope this is of use.0 -
I had a look at the lan addresses and they are the same fir the repeater and the router.
I can connect to the repeater but it just shows as limited and so of no use.0 -
If the repeater is on the fringe of the router transmission zone then it may struggle to lock onto the signal, perhaps it needs moving closer to the router.0
