Apply online or go into a branch?

I've been deliberating over business bank accounts and have settled on Barclays because it can be done with a flat monthly fee and I want to keep the costs predictable and under control.
Now should I go into a branch with a proper drawn up business plan or should I just apply online? Does it really make any difference actually seeing someone and talking them through what I want to do?
