Copy statements, is it really needed?

Hi all
There are a lot of statements over the last 5 years, do I really need to copy them, and send to bank to prove bank charges?
My son did the 2nd 'type' of letter first, before I found this site, and got, what we can make out, a standard reply.
So he then sent first letter, got statements now we have added it up to be just over £1200.
Now ready for next step, so does he do 2 nd letter using templates? with copies of statements?
Thanks
Annie

You don't need to send a copy of the statements to the bank. All you have to do is send a listing of the charges (including dates, amount and description).
You will need the relevant statements for the court bundle though. You will only have to use the actual pages that contain the specific charge you are claiming for.
You will need a copy for the court, one for the bank and one for yourself so I'd scope out cheap photocopying establishments if I were you... unless you have a scanner and printer of course.Hamsters have no tact and diplomacy, nor do they want any.0 -
Thanks for that.
A few hours after work it is then with the photo copier!! and my own paper of course!0
