Travel Insurance with Home Insurance

We have Home buildings & Contents Insurance, with Direct Line, which comes with free Travel Insurance.
We are planning a foreign holiday later this year - long haul not Europe.
We haven't been abroad as a family before now. Not since the x2 children were born.
We have read all the small print & T's & C's and all seems good. By which I mean that everything we think we need is covered, in the way we would want it to be covered.
It's just a question to anyone who has had this insurance - did it serve your needs?
What should we be looking out for?
I guess what I'm asking is - will this be sufficient for our trip?
We aren't planning any dangerous sporting activities, just flying out, staying with relatives and flying home. With some trips around for sightseeing etc.
All info/comments welcome.
Thanks

It's just travel insurance - but not applicable to over 65s or anyone with pre-existing medical conditions. Just do a comparison to a standalone policy to see if it meets your needs, or how it compares. It's just a question to anyone who has had this insurance - did it serve your needs?
I have it and it meets my needs, but that doesn't mean it will meet yours. I've not had to claim on it.0
